( ai | backend | data ) engineer at Sundial. previously at Indeed, Gameskraft, and PayPal. Bachelors in Computer Science, Masters in Economics BITS Pilani 23’ grad
Through academia, I particularly work on econometrics and statistics, causality and causal inference in derivatives, and policy making for emerging markets. Find my research work here.
My work at Sundial involves building ETL pipelines and generating data backed and AI assisted actionable insights for OpenAI, Gamma, Character.ai and some of the world's largest AI companies.
I worked across a petabyte scale ingestion and query optimisation process for OLAP workloads, building SQL transpilers and ANSI SQL dialects, compute and storage layer optimisations on delta lake, building multi-turn analytical agents, MCPs and DAAPs for deep analysis, agents for the observability stack, building a semantic layer for the data analytics space to name a few.
I am stack agnostic and work across applied AI, backend, frontend and data engineering. I believe in fast iterations over perfection, and in doing whatever it takes to get stuff done.
